CS Magnets, established through a spin-off in 2011, is the result of a long-existing collaboration between a prominent European player and a leading Chinese manufacturer, both operating since decades within the industrial magnets production industry.
Given the broad set of activities in which the Chinese manufacturer was involved, CS Magnets was created with the intention of taking over all the magnets-related operations of the company, in order to focus all its efforts, investments and research on a dedicated industry.
The synergies arising from the collaboration of 2 sets of different core competencies and cultural realities allow CS Magnets to:

have full control over the magnets production process value chain, thanks to its proprietary production plant in China

The long-term experience we have developed in the industry permits us to support our Customers within the development of new projects and the review of existing ones, by engineering magnets that can perfectly fit all their needs in terms of dimensional and magnetic requirements.
A fully equipped R&D laboratory, managed by trained professionals, guarantees a constant support and assistance to satisfy all the requests received.
To all those clients who need a relevant level of flexibility regarding both timings and volumes of supply, due to uncertainties in consumption forecasts or to the intrinsic nature of their business, we offer the possibility to create dedicated Safety Stock programs.
The specific level of buffer stock kept within our warehouse is usually determined following an evaluation procedure of the biggest criticalities of our customers’ production processes.
Generic control plans are always customized following the real functional requirements of the magnets used by our customers in their final applications.
Checking instruments, control frequency, and control severity are tailored to assure that Customer expectations are perfectly met at each step of the Manufacturing Process.
Operators are selected and hired for their attitude and experience in conducting a specific working center.
After the employment confirmation, they follow a dedicated and personalized training program that includes not only an overview of all the activities performed within the other working centers in the factory, but also some principles about Magnetism and an understanding of the main functions that magnets have in our Customers final applications.
Our expertise within all steps of Permanent Magnets production allow us to verify, at a potential Subcontractor (e.g. Machining centers, Plating factories), all details concerning its competence, equipment status, availability and capability, traceability system and process stability.
After Selection, the Subcontractor is then monitored through our endor rating program, which consists in periodical Audits operated by our Quality managers.
